An event every week that begins at 1:00pm on Tuesday, repeating indefinitely
You can learn to meditate effectively at this session held at Wellbeing in Hamilton House every Tuesday lunchtime.
Beginning at 1.00 pm, each session includes two meditations lasting approximately 20 minutes each.
The first meditation is on the breath, and the second is different each week. The group is aimed at complete beginners and experienced meditators equally. After the meditations there is a chance to share questions, thoughts and experiences.
A donation is invited towards the cost of the room.
The meditations taught at the group do not lead you away from basic reality but towards it. They do not prompt you to escape to any sort of fantasy realm away from it all. Grounded in common experience and reason, when practised regularly, they can help you to develop a calm, focused clear mind that enables you to improve your life, relationships and activities.
The group is organised by Universal Wisdom Education Bristol.
Meditations are led free of charge, by experienced buddhist meditators, who select the meditations for their universal applicability.
