Kundalini Yoga (as taught by Yogi Bhajan) is an ancient technology and science. It is often referred to as the “Yoga of Awareness”. It works by using asanas(postures), pranayama(breathing), mantra(chants), mudra (hand gestures) and meditation.
These are combined together and taught in a Kriya (sequence of postures) that have a specific goal working on the physical, mental and emotional levels. They are designed to bring about balance and transformation by working on a particular system of the body. When doing a Kriya we could be working on the nervous, lymphatic, endocrine or immune system.
Kundalini Yoga can make you feel relaxed, build a healthy body, feel peaceful, vibrant and alive . It can help break through emotional blocks, develop a balanced mind and help you to realise your true creative potential. Kundalini Yoga can have many benefits, including:
