Make a day of it!
Join Zoë from Stylemongers of Bristol for an introduction to the world of interior design, in the heart of Bristol’s arts scene. Delivered over three hours, the morning workshop aims to demystify the design process and equip participants with the fundamentals needed to go forth and build a sound interior design scheme. Focussing on colour and how to channel inspiration into design, there will also be a practical session to create a moodboard to take away and use at home.
For lunch you are welcome to bring something along or pop down to the Canteen while the room is re-set for the afternoon session (we plan to offer whole day workshops inclusive of lunch in the future so watch this space if that sounds good to you!).
The afternoon Interior Styling workshop will explore a range of different decorating styles and how to emulate them at home. We will also think about how to maximise space so there is plenty of room for the fun stuff, like carefully placed displays of treasured possessions. With practical exercises to illustrate how to achieve an interesting vignette and an Instagrammable ‘shelfie’, it promises to be an enjoyable afternoon that will give participants ideas and inspiration to confidently style up their own homes. Workshoppers are encouraged to bring along an interesting object from home (nothing too big or fragile) to incorporate in to their style story.
Tea, coffee and fair trade biscuits will be provided throughout to keep energy levels up (please inform us of any dietary requirements). No previous experience is necessary for either session, and all materials will be provided. To buy a ticket as a gift for a loved one simply enter their name at the checkout so we know who to expect on the day. Come to either or both workshops!
