Lioba Fezer – Holistic Therapist: Shiatsu, Massage, Yoga & Nutrition

I offer support in alleviating stress and discomfort be it physical, mental or emotional. I work holistically using naturopathic and Chinese Medicine principles. This means that I work with the whole person not just isolated symptoms to get to the root cause of the problem.

The tools I use are nutrition, massage, acupressure based on Chinese medicine (Shiatsu) as well as yoga, meditation and other relaxation practises helping you to understand the link between body and mind.

Shiatsu

Shiatsu takes place clothed on a futon on the ground and taps into the meridians or energy lines that run through the body in order to help restore balance and wellbeing. It can be very relaxing as well as effective in the alleviation of menstrual difficulties, headaches, anxiety, IBS and more.

Massage

Massage involves organic oils and can be tailored to your specific needs. This means that it can be gentle or deeper tissue work. I have studied different forms of massage including myo-fascial and deep tissue techniques.

Pregnancy shiatsu and massage

I really enjoy working with pregnant women through all of the stages of pregnancy and beyond and have found it to be very supportive and beneficial with a range of issues on both physical and emotional levels. I have studied with Suzanne Yates from the Well Mother school in Bristol and accompanied many women through their pregnancies.

Nutritional therapy

Nutritional therapy requires 90 minutes for an initial consultation (like shiatsu) and will involve an in depth look at your personal and family history, dietary habits and lifestyle to come up with a unique treatment plan for you.
