Alex Adkins – Humanistic Therapeutic Counselling
You may be having emotional difficulties associated with anxiety or depression. You could be struggling to make sense of something in life. Or perhaps you want to address and change an aspect of your way of living.
My aim is to provide a warm, welcoming and supportive environment in which you can feel able to express and explore whatever you need to.
Being Humanistic in approach means prioritising your subjective experience and it is my commitment to stay respectful and non-judgmental towards you. I’m also curious about ‘questions of existence’ like choice, meaning, life and death. Upon this basis, I offer support, insight and perspective as you may require in order to help you to grow, heal or to untie the knots that are causing you distress.
I am a graduate of the PostGraduate Diploma (PGDip) in Humanistic Therapeutic Counselling at the University of Brighton. I am a member of the BACP, and abide by their code of ethics.
I offer an initial 50-minute session at £10 – a chance to see if you’d like us to work together.
Ongoing: £40 per 50-minute session.
