The Sunday Club Screenprinting
Every Sun 10.00am-4.00pmNeed something to fill your Sunday? Why not try your hand at screen printing?
£60 for a whole day including paints and materials learning how to print in a relaxed, friendly studio and whats even better is that you get to take home a set of prints that you can impress your chums with!
The studio is centrally located in Stokes Croft, right next door to the Bristol Bike Project.

Contact Improvisation Dance
Every Sun 5.30-8.30pmContact Improvisation is based on the physical exploration of how the body moves through its own intelligence and how two or more bodies in contact with each other can move together. A dance that fine tunes your senses and wakes up your ability to listen and respond to what is happening in the moment. Sometimes wild and athletic, sometimes quiet and meditative, and all levels in between. It is a form open to all bodies and inquiring minds.
These Sunday sessions are run and taught by a community of contact dancers. Classes are open to all levels and generally led by a different teacher each week. If you are new to the form and want to find out more before you come, please contact the teacher of the class you intend to come to, or write to the general email address below. Details are regularly updated to our website and sent out to our mailing list (see below).
The jam is an open event without a teacher. Participants are responsible for their own safety and well being in the jam. Take care to be alert and sensitive to yourself and others. The organisers cannot accept responsibility or liability for injury. There is often a musician accompanying us at the jams.

Ashtanga Yoga
Every Mon 1.00-2.00pmThis flowing, dynamic, graceful yet strong yoga system is designed to detox and realign the body preparing the practitioner for meditation. It challenges the limitations of your mind and with regular practice develops courage and humility.
I gained my teaching certificate in the UK and taught in London for two years before travelling to India to learn from some truly inspiring teachers where I spent three months studying yoga and pranayama in Mysore, the birthplace of Ashtanga yoga.
This class is suitable for all. Be prepared to sweat! Mats provided.

Bellyfit
Every Mon 5-6pmBellyfit is the holistic fitness system for women that draws inspiration from ancient and modern elements. It is a one hour moving experience in a group fitness style, incorporating elements of pilates for breath and alignment, cultural dance for celebration and community, yoga for practice binding and music that moves hearts. Bellyfit gives girls and women the opportunity for self - empowerment and rebalancing through movement, it is fun, safe and energising. Class is open to all ages, and is for women ONLY.
Drop in class cost is £8 (£7 for block booking).

LGBT Fitness Class and Social
Every Mon 7-8pm, £3Ability Level: Classes are tailored to all ability levels for those with no severe injuries or medical conditions
You’ll improve your fitness while burning calories with a range of exercises, which mainly uses your own body rather than weights. These sessions are for LGBT people and their friends and family. The class is one hour with the option to socialise in the café afterwards.
This class can benefit your other sporting activities. But if you’re new to exercise it’ll get you started while having fun meeting other people in the LGBT community.

Bristol Capoeira Angola
Every Mon / Thur 8.15-10.15pm, £7Capoeira Angola is an artform from Brazil, an exciting mix of martial art, dance, theatre, music, song and the rituals of the Afro-Brazilian culture.
Capoeira is a martial art, but the emphasis is on skill and humour rather than brute force, and the traditional music and games of capoeira combine to create a high energy performance.
Beginners are welcome to all sessions.

Meditation Group
Every Tue 1.00-2.00pmYou can learn to meditate effectively at this session held at Wellbeing, Hamilton House. Beginning at 1.00 pm, each session includes two meditations lasting approximately 20 minutes each. The first meditation is on the breath, and the second is different each week.
The group is aimed at complete beginners and experienced meditators equally. The meditations taught at the group do not lead you away from basic reality but towards it. Grounded in common experience and reason, when practised regularly, they can help you to develop a calm, focused clear mind that enables you to improve your life, relationships and activities.

5 Rhythms Dance
Every Tue 7.45-9.45pm / Every Fri 8.00-10.00pm, £10/£85-Rhythms is the original ecstatic dance practice - freeing and easy, it's a workout and an energy bath. Created by Gabrielle Roth this practice brings the wisdom of ancient spiritual dance practices into a 21st century context; infusing them with progressive rhythms and adapting them to the urban psyche.
Participants are guided into an exploration of five distinct but natural rhythmic patterns - finding then expanding their own style and capacity for expression within each. The practice is grounding and energiesing, increasing fitness, fluidity and enhanced emotional intelligence.

Belly Dance
Every Tue 8.15-9.15pm / 9.30-10.30pmIn the first hour we will learn and dance "American Tribal Style" moves (ATS) a Beautiful improvised group dance lead by Instinctive cues, Evoking the Powerful Mesmerizing energy of women dancing together. In the second hour we will fuse the ATS moves with other dance forms characteristic of "Tribal Fusion Belly Dance" , Pops & Locks, Extensions, Undulations, Side Winders, Slinky Hips and strong clean isolations. Both classes will include some yoga based stretches for warm up and cool down, posture alignment for dance and brake down of technique practised through repetition.

Lunch Box Choir
Every Wed 11.30am-1pm, 8 weeks (£40)The Lunch Box Choir is a fun weekly singing group run by Jennifer Bell. It is for people who want to improve vocal technique, whilst learning interesting material. We sing gorgeous pieces, ranging from Bulgarian folk songs, to original arrangements of modern songs. There is no audition, and you do not have to be able to read music, but you do have to be able to sing in tune. Some experience in group singing is preferable, but not essential. £40 per term of 8 weeks. First term runs 5th Sept till 24th October.

Every Wed 6.30-8.00pmDiscover Argentine Tango - the passionate, elegant and beautiful partner dance.
Join our Tango Note classes with Thomas and Saara and you will learn to dance like the Tangueros of Buenos Aires. Our classes explain Tango clearly, so that you can easily learn this beautiful dance. You’ll soon be able to enjoy a social dance evening with confidence…
One hour class for beginners and intermediates. After this, half an hour practice.
Price: £8 (£6 concessions) per person, including the practice. £2 for practice only. No booking required: simply turn up and pay for the class in the studio. 6-week courses are given at a discount (£40, one class free!)

Integrative Personal and Spiritual Development - One Year Foundation Course
