Art Studios

About

Hamilton House artist studios are home to a unique collective of creative practitioners with a variety of visual fine artists, photographers, fashion and costume designers to writers and puppeteers that you won’t find anywhere else in central Bristol.

The range of studio spaces available have created a strong diversity of the arts encouraging distinctive collaborative projects between different users of coexist spaces and the team. By joining the studios you will be contributing to the dynamic and cooperative environment of Hamilton House.

Added benefits include proximity to our year-round program of exhibitions, talks and activities all happening in the creative hub of stokes croft.

We encourage all beneficial activity. There is no criteria or standard necessary to take space here, just an understanding of, and a commitment to the productive, collective and community ethos that underpins Coexist’s mission to create spaces that best provide for the community.

Facilities

We have a range of open and closed studio spaces all with natural light, access to communal areas with kitchen facilities, Wi-Fi included, 24-hour access if required, and post service, as well as a tenant community area for networking, reflection and relaxation. Additionally there is also a weekly lunch open to everyone hand made by the in house Community Kitchen project, this provides excellent networking opportunities between all areas of the building.

There is also a fortnightly newsletter sent out to both the tenant community and the general public, which promotes events and opportunities within Hamilton House; as a tenant you are welcome to post announcements you wish to be circulated here.
